When my mother passed away and my father moved to an assisted living facility, the family photo archive came to my house. Suddenly, I found myself with a cubic meter of photographs of people who had influenced me in various ways. As my 50th birthday approached, I decided to delve into the archive. I performed physical and digital manipulations on the photographs and created new conceptual series based on my discoveries in the family history.
